You no longer have to read a newspaper or wait until the
end of the evening news to find out about the weather!
Our own weather page gives a snapshot of weather conditions of our main Australian cities.
There are many sites on the Internet that provide you with
up-to-the-minute weather all around the world!
If you are doing an assignment on anything to do with the
weather then you may be surprised with just how much information
is out there!
The Bureau of Meteorology provides some great education
resources on Australian weather through their Learn
about Meteorology webpage while you can find out about
what is happening all over the world through the Weather
Underground website.
Weather.com
offers some good classroom weather experiments and lesson
plans.
World Book offers a comprehensive guide to climates
around the world.
For some starter information into what forces affect our
weather then the Learner.org
weather pages may help.
If you are starting to become a bit of a weather fanatic
then the site for you is the Australian-based, Weatherzone.
Finally, Project
Atmosphere, a finalist in the Stockholm Challenge Awards,
is an Australian educational project that is well worth a
look at.
