Sneak Peek at "Man Of Steel"
Next summer, "Man of Steel" is coming to the big screen.
The film is from director Zack Snyder and producers Charles Roven, Christopher Nolan, Emma Thomas and Deborah Snyder.
The screenplay was written by David S. Goyer from a story by Goyer & Nolan, based upon Superman characters created by Jerry Siegel & Joe Shuster and published by DC Comics and promises to bring a whole new shade of grey to the superhero everyone knows... but most find incredibly boring.
There is a lot of pressure on this after the lacklustre response to Superman Returns, but will this Dark Knight-esque take on the classic superhero work? People have already complained it looks like a Terrance Malick flick - even more people have complained that when Superman flies, he shouldn't have vapour streams shooting from him like a plane.
For those who have seen the newest trailer screening before The Hobbit, you will have noticed the 3D usage by Snyder is phenomenal. It's quite possible the most effective use of 3D I've ever seen in a narrative driven film and this is based purely on what I've seen in the trailer! Needless to say, we're excited!
No matter what the outcome, nerds are annoying.
