Upside Down

Sneak Peek at "Upside Down"

Here's one of those movie concepts that's been floating around for quite a while, but is only just making its way into cinemas. Whether that's a production delay, a studio problem, or any number of other reasons we are unaware.

What we can say it that it's one of the coolest looking movies since The Matrix.

The main reason for our excitement is the complexity of the story. It follows Spider-Man's Kirsten Dunst and 21's Jim Sturgess in an interplanetary dystopian future and the romance that blossoms as a young man searches for his long lost love.

Still confused, well, it gets better!

So the Lovers, Adam (Sturgess) and Eden (Dunst), are separated not just by their social class but also by a freaky planetary situation: they live on twin worlds where gravities pull in opposite directions. A mirror world if you will.

The planets are so close that their highest mountain peaks almost touch, and it is here where Adam and Eden first met as children and years later where they would fall in love as teens.

It gets much more complicated from there, but all you really need to know is it's The Matrix meets Romeo & Juliet... and that's pretty damn exciting!
