We're The Millers

Sneak Peek at "We're The Millers (Red Band Trailer)"

I've been a big fan of Saturday Night Live's Jason Sudeikis for a long time now. While he's technically not a stand out cast member on that iconic show, his presence there has opened him up to exposure on other things like 30 Rock and Hall Pass - films and tv shows which have showcased his potent levels of charisma.

Yet, despite a hit in Horrible Bosses, you'd be hard pressed to find anyone outside of comedy nerds and Americans who could even recognise his face, let alone name. Hopefully all that is about to change with a string of Sudeikis led comedies on their way to cinemas this year.

The first looks like a fun mash up of Harold & Kumar meets Chevy Chase Vacation movies, and includes a stellar cast and a few outstanding shots of Jennifer Aniston's increasingly stunning body.

Directed by Dodgeball's Rawson Marshall Thurber , We’re The Millers stars Aniston and Sudeikis in a comedy that see's him as a small time weed dealer who supplies mostly to cooks and mums (but not youths, as that would because he has standards). Anyhew, things go haywire and he ends up owning a lot of cash to his dealer (The Hangover's Ed Helms).

This is all a long winded way to set up a big time Mexican drug smuggle for this small time drugs dealer. In order to bypass border control, he enlists the help of his neighbours - a  stripper (Aniston), a wannabe stoner (Will Poulter) and a tattooed teen (Emma Roberts) - to create a fake family for him. One fake wife, two pretend kids and a huge, shiny RV. Yes, "The Millers" are going on holiday!

This looks like it could be awesome, or totally underwhelming. I'm inclined to think it'll be good - but also inclined to think that neither Aniston, nor Sudeikis are bankable enough stars to really make this thing any more than a middling success. More Hall Pass than Horrible Bosses when it comes to the box office takings.

Sadly, that could cause a lot of trouble for Sudeikis' movie career. So, it's up to you now! Save his movie career, or lose him forever!
