Nineteen Minutes

Nineteen Minutes is the moving story of a tragic high school shooting
set in a small town community. Peter Houghton has never fit in with his
class mates. He's been bullied, mercilessly teased and treated as an
outsider throughout his schooling. One day he comes to school and sets
off a pipe bomb and begins his rampage ending with the death of 10
fellow students.
Jodi Picoult has once again portrayed a tragic and all too familiar
situation in a humane and suspenseful way with a twist at the end which
keeps you guessing the whole way through. In Nineteen Minutes she
explores bullying in schools and the importance of fitting in and the
role of the family.
