It is hard to remember a British movie with a cast as good as Love Actually, but even if the actors were as good the movie will not compare.

For Love Actually is a superb movie that examines relationships and non-relationships in a gentle, warm and - above all -funny way.

It is the movie you can sit down with your partner and enjoy together on many different levels and both come away feeling warm and fuzzy about it.

Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle

And how about this for a line-up? Hugh Grant is a lonely young British PM, Colin Firth is a cuckolded writer, Alan Rickman and Emma Thompson as a couple who have lost the magic of romance and Liam Neeson is a just-widowered step-dad.

Best of all is Bill Nighy (of State of Play editor fame) is a brain-frzzled ex-rock star who tries for a comeback with the most soppy Christmas ballad ever.

Throw in at least half a dozen very well known faces with a host of storylines and you have a beautifully written homage to love.

Fantastic.

Conclusion: Movie 90% Extras 70%
