Comments: The behind-the-scenes mini-doco begins with
Oscar hype, but then becomes a really good way to get into
the creation of a truly wonderful movie. It's good to hear
from the scriptwriter Alan Ball, an unusual occurrence in
these things, and he goes into the main theme of his script.
Then it's off to the producers, actors, Steven Spielberg to
have their say. It's is one of the best behind-the-scenes
efforts going round on DVD. Other bonuses include really interesting
storyboard comparisons with the final way scenes were shot
and a truly excellent commentary from Sam Mendes.
