Basil Brush Unleashed

Ha ha ha ... BOOM BOOM.

Yes the famous catchphrase of that most wickedly funny fox, Basil Brush, is set to resound through sound systems in loungerooms around the world.

For those who don't know Basil Brush - he is an ageless kids' favourite who was a massive star during the late 60s and 70s and who has just returned to our TV screens.

Now Basil is a rather rude fox who always has a funny comment for the things he experiences and people he meets.

In this series he lives with a Mr Stephen, a Miss Molly and Master Dave and between them they give Basil plenty of ammunition for his wisecracks. Mr Stephen cops a massive pounding in each of the three episodes on the DVD.

The adventures are:

The Date where Stephen finally meets a beautiful girl and goes on a date, only to have to double up with Basil and the girl's revoltingly horrid aunt. Needless to say the comments are savage and there is a funny food fight.

Mouse where a very cute rodent invades the guys' home and they do all they can to try to catch the little devil.

Fake's Progress where Stephen is magically changed into a love machine by a gypsy and finds himself irrestible to women. (For once).

Basil Brush Unleashed is very funny at times and will appeal to both little children and bigger children (or so Mrs Anthony says anyway!).

Conclusion: Movie 80% Extras 60%
