The film looks the same, plays out the same and... well... is exactly the same.
Which, somehow, still doesn't stop Bruno:

Foreigner In A Mesh T-Shirt from being one of the only comedies of 2009 / 2010 to deliver geunine breathtaking laughs.
No - not "That guy with the beard in The Hangover made me laugh" chuckles, I'm talking "I can't breath because I'm laughing so hard" sort of cackles.
Granted there is only one of these rare moments in Bruno - but then again, there was only one in Borat via the now infamous "nude wrestling" scene - but that is one more than any other comedy has delivered in the last decade.
If
your looking for plot, you won't find it here. But plot isn't what the
audience is after, as this is purely an exercise to see to what limits
Cohen can push good taste, morality and red-neck psychology.
It is without doubt brilliant, and without parallel. Bruno is, at it's very core, the thinking man's Jackass.
Yes,
many will leave screenings with cries of "Borat was better" - but
that's only because it came first. There is, obviously, a distinct
lack of "freshness" to Bruno - but go into this one with an open mind and you won't leave disappointed.
There
are plenty of actors who repeat successful formulas (Vince Vaughn, Will
Ferrell, Ben Stiller) but there are very few who can deliver consistent
quality - which is what Sacha Baron Cohen has done here.
It
would defeat the purpose of the movie to spoil what stunts Bruno has in
store for it's audience, because it is the unpredictability factor
which makes this such a guilty pleasure.
But I will say this...

As usual with these type of improvised comedies,
there are several versions floating around with varied levels of "cut
scenes" and "extended sequences". More often than not, these extras are
actually funnier than the jokes that make it into the movie... and it's
almost true again for Bruno. Included
here are some hilairious Deleted Scenes which you didn't see in
cinemas, as well as some truly unbelievable Extended Scenes, plus a
look at the casting of Bruno's baby. Well worth checking out. Conclusion:
