Funny. Sexy. Wow – risky stuff for the former (I, suppose, with Ghost Whisperer,
she’s that again) TV sweetheart. OK, watched it, yet? Now you can
turn it off. I promise you, you’ll miss nothing. Absolutely
nothing else to see her folks, move on. This social satire
based on the best-seller by Adele Lang humorously chronicles the life
of Katya Livingston (Jennifer Love Hewitt), a self-centered, obnoxious
and conceited 28-year-old ad sales exec who won't let anything or
anyone stand in her way in getting to the top of the San Francisco
social ladder. When tax inspectors question her claims Katya is forced
to keep a financial diary and finds time to add details about her
friends, enemies and lovers all from her unique point of view. Essentially, this is one of those ‘I was down and out, before Ghost Whisperer
came along, so I needed cash’ jobs for the busty fox. The film
– about a sales exec who won't let anything or anyone stand in
her way in getting to the top of the San Francisco social ladder - is
really quite tragic. EXTRASTerrible flick, even
more terrible extras. Nothing of any great value besides the very
basics. You know your struggling when "Scene Selection" is listed as a
Special Feature. Conclusion:
