Comments: This is a big package and a worthy effort for a movie of the stature of ET. Spielberg's intro is short, but in it he tells us of how he had always wanted to deal with some parts of the original movie that didn't quite work for him and so with the aid of computers was able to put more life into ET. The Evolution and Creation of ET is a fascinating look at how Spielberg's boyhood dream was turned into a movie, scripted, cast and made into a major worldwide smash hit. You get to see screen tests and why the actors were picked for their roles. The reunion interviews - shot as a group in front of the camera - shows there still is a real bond between the stars and it is interesting to match the then looks with how they are now. The Space Exploration section allows you to hear information about each planet - and the moon - all done in ET's voice. If you are into the movie these extras will add so much to your enjoyment of it.
