Not that he should be, because the girl is an absolute bee-ach
who regards him as her puppet. He has to do as he's told,
drop his mates and is not allowed to have sex - although I
have to 'fess up to one of his tasks being an extremely interesting
prospect.
Horrified by what they see, his also-loser friends Wayne
(Steve Zahn) and JD (Jack Black) vow to save their mate from
a chick they see as Hannibal Lector.
Peet's role is very similar to the one she played in Whipped,
although this movie is not as basic and is aimed more at the
American Pie audience than the Whipped mob.
Her outfits are just stunningly over the top - or should
that be only just around her top. But, it has to be said,
her talents are not exactly pushed in this and another role
like her one in The Whole Nine Yards must be getting
close.
Wayne and JD's plan involves everything - including kidnapping
the evil one - and, as luck would have it, a long-lost love
of Darren's arrives back on the scene.
She is Sandy Perkus (Amanda Detmer) and what starts off as
old firends meeting turns into begins a nice little romance.
The usually ever-so-serious, drill-sergeant-like R. Lee Ermey
also appears in Evil Woman as the rather misguided
coach and he is unbelievably off-beat (and funny).
Sorry people, I quite enjoyed this movie - and unleashed
more than a few loud guffaws throughout it. It will amuse
chaps more than the gals, although I have no doubts that many
women would want to have the sort of control Peet's character
has over a bloke.
Conclusion: Movie 75%, Extras 50%
