Teenage paranoia will be admirably fed with this rebellious-teens-beat-the-world (aliens) flick.

Aliens invade a pretty shoddy Ohio school and after the teachers are taken over, the students are next on the hit list.

There's heaps of tension, a lot of erky-perky slimy stuff and a hell of a lot of fun to be had as six "outcasts" take on the invaders and save the world.

The cast, headed by Elijah Wood, is either a very good-looking bunch of teens/young teachers or very fine older actors.

All do a really good job and there are some excellent cameos from the likes of Piper Laurie and Robert Patrick.

The Faculty is a well-above-average effort at frightening the pants off you.
