Talking of course about Friends
the hit sitcom, that for ten years, has made us laugh, cry,
bust-a-gust, awww, ahhhh, and add ‘How YOU doin?’ to our
escapades at the Meat Market. Though still light years ahead of most
sitcoms, season ten did prove that the well was getting a little dry
– and that it probably was a good time for them to hang their
keys back on the hook. Season Ten isn’t without some super
episodes though – there’s plenty (‘The One Where The
Stripper Cries’ guest-starring Danny De Vito, is a highlight),
and there’s a slew of familiar faces to help the gang out –
including Anna Faris (something about this girl – she’s
tastier than a frothy latte on a cold morning), Greg Kinnear, Christina
Applegate and Selma Blair. Despite being dragged on for almost a
year by Channel Nine when aired in Australia a few years ago, it's
fantastic to be able to finally watch the series the way it was
intended. In order, without repeats spliced in between! The end may be bittersweet, but it’s been a good run for Friends. EXTRAS
The DVD is just great – especially for fans. There’s a 45-minute gag
reel, interviews and a lengthy behind-the-scenes doco, to name a but a
couple of bonuses.
Conclusion:
Movie 90% Extras: 80%
