Comments: The commentary from Jessie Nelson is very good and if you liked the movie then it is well worth spending the time again going through it.

Becoming Sam is an excellent 42-minute look at how the whole thing came about - from visiting sheltered workshops, how the actors were chosen and why The Beatles were picked to have their songs reworked for the brilliant soundtrack. During the seven deleted/alternate scenes you can listen to Nelson's reasons for why she chose to cut/change them.
