Basically the movie is about Alice (Graham) who is a web
designer in London and lives with her boring boyfriend until
suddenly "whammo" she meets Adam (Fiennes) in the
street.
There is something about the guy that just hits her straight
away and, from his reaction, the feeling is mutual.
An extremely passionate affair begins and soon ends up in
a passionate marriage, although the boundaries of their liaisons
seem almost limitless as they get into less mainstream couplings
shall we say.
Anyway, for some reason Alice needs to discover more about
her barely known hubby and finds herself intrigued, then frightened
by anonymous notes warning her about her new hubby.
From there the movie turns into quite a thriller as the poor
besotted dear tries to unravel his past.
There is a heap of tension in Killing Me Softly although,
it has to be said, I picked the whodunnit fairly early on.
Still, the leads give great performances and if you want
to see Ms Graham as you have never done so before ...
Conclusion: 80% Extras: 65%.
