Peter Sellers was one of the greatest comic geniuses to grace this planet and on film you'd have to say that some of his funniest work was done in the Pink Panther movie series.

As the idiotic Inspector Clouseau, Sellers dominated the screen with one of the original atrocious French accents, slapstick physical humour and a sublime subtlety of acting.

Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle

There are so many hilarious moments throughout the films that it is hard to recall them all.

Luckily MGM has brought out an almost-entire Pink Panther Film Collection that includes The Pink Panther, A Shot in the Dark, The Pink Panther Strikes Again, Revenge of the Pink Panther, Trail of the Pink Panther and a sixth extras disc that has some excellent documentary extras on it. The missing film is the Return of the Pink Panther, as MGM doesn't have rights to it.

Now mention must be made here about the box for this edition. It is very attractive and has some terrific artwork on it, however, the designer has made it almost impossible to work out which movie is on what DVD because the name only appears in exceptionally small print along with the copyright info. We are talking here of 1-point type (if you are lucky). Come on guys, design is one thing - making things clear and easy to get at is just ever-so-slightly more important.

That moan aside this is a must-have set for Sellers fans and together with the extras disc is the perfect way to introduce people to his stunning brand of comedy.

Conclusion: Movie 85% Extras 90%
