Pooh's Grand Adventure

Winnie the Pooh's latest - and grandest - adventure is all about how the friends from the 100 Acre Wood have to find strength within themselves after Christopher Robin disappears.

Waking one morning they discover their friend and helper is gone and so set out on a quest to Skull Rock to find him.

Along the way, they have to face all sorts of dangers, from Heffalumps and Woozles, deep crevasses, scary forests and the dreaded Skullosaurus.

As usual, the crew face them with complete innocence. There are heaps of songs to get to know and this movie will certainly not bore any parent sitting down to watch it with their youngsters. (Having watched it at least 300 times, I can attest to that.)

On DVD, this modern remaking of the Wizard of Oz (for kids) is razor-sharp and the difference from video, even a brand new one, is easily seen.

A must-have for any home that has children/adults who like Winnie and his friends.

Conclusion: Movie: 90% DVD Extras: 50%
