Yule Be Wiggling

Review by James Anthony

Well, well, well, haven't the old Wiggles come a long way - production quality wise - since their first few videos.

Oh the music was fine, but the acting, miming and production values were appalling.

Still, the guys have sold squillions of vids and their latest offering is available also on DVD.

Now don't bother expecting too much different from other Wiggles offerings, there's heaps of songs the kids will love, a bit of comedy, some dancing and appearances from Wags the Dog, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Henry the Octopus and Captain Feathersword.

And, of course, Greg, Anthony, Jeff and Murray all appear sporting their own brand of kids' entertainment.

The boys travel to Bethlehem to sing to the baby Jesus, dance the Christmas Polka with Santa and travel to the North Pole.

There's not much more to say other than, as usual, the catchy Wiggles tunes will eat into your subconcious and at the most inappropriate times you'll find yourself humming them. Could be worse - Marilyn Manson could join the Wiggles.

All up, great entertainment and songs for the ankle biters.

Conclusion: Movie 80%, Extras 85%
