Leave Her Alone, You Bastards

Now I don't know about you guys out there, but news that Queensland police are interviewing a terminally ill woman who wants to die makes my blood boil.

Here is this poor woman, suffering all sorts of pain, just wanting to pick her time of leaving this earth - and she has the rozzers surrounding her saying that anyone who helps is going to be in big trouble.

Have a bit of decency you swine! At her age - 70 or above - she can probably decide for herself if she has no quality of life left and just wants to die.

Apart from that I think the folk in blue up in former-Johland have forgotten something rather important - it just so happens to be her life and she can decide to do with it what she bloody well wants without her home being invaded by a pack of No.16-booted coppers.

After all, if you mistreat or don't help sick creatures, leaving them in pain, you get arrested and have to face big fines. Aren't people more important?

Perhaps the relatives of this lady should check out the laws on cruelty and see if they can have them applied to humans. Then they could charge those who would stop euthansia with deliberately causing pain.

If I'm ever in that position then there is no way in the world governmental tossers are going to tell me what to do and stop me ending my life. What are they going to do ... bring me back? Well, I guess some politicians think they probably can.

No, I'll top myself and leave a note pinned to my chest.

"Here Lies Grumpy, took the decision himself. If you don't like it ... sue me, you bastards!"
