Refresher Course Ahead Of "Prometheus"

Scott's highly anticipated "not a prequel" prequel to Alien is fast
approaching. We've seen it and our review will be unleashed soon.
However, knowing what we know (and what you don't if you haven't seen
it yet), it seems only fair that we give you a refresher course in the
world of alien.
Yes, while Prometheus
does inhabit the same universe the crux of the story runs parallel to
the events of the 1979 classic. The events in this film set off a chain
reaction that lead to Sigourney Weaver's classic cinematic moments. Be
warned, this isn't a direct prequel - it's simply a piece of a puzzle
(that may span at least three images). It's simply,y a the beginning of
a
new adventure.
So to celebrate, we give you two viral videos that AREN'T included in Prometheus but are
vital to the tone and back story of the characters. Following that, we
embark on a trip down memory lane with Ridley Scott himself with a
documentary which retraces the steps of the original sci-fi classic.
It may not all make sense now, but again, this is a universe where
pieces of the puzzle come together eventually! Enjoy, and remember, in
cyberspace... no one can hear you scream.
