Interview
- Body Of Lies
Interview
with Leonardo Dicaprio and Russell
Crowe
Stars
of the political thriller Body
Of Lies.
If there is one thing the world loves, it's the teaming of a few of
Hollywood's best. Hell, they were able to milk three Oceans 11 movies
out of the concept.
So
what happens when you team up a couple of Oscar Winners and
one of
the most talked about actors of their generation for a film that takes
on none other than the American Government?
You get yourself a #1 smash hit (although, for some strange reason, the
flick was beat to top spot in the States by that damn Beverly Hills Chihuahua).
There
has been a lot of talk about whether or not there was some inside intel
into how the CIA actually works given to the producers of Body
Of Lies
(for those who
have yet to see the flick - they portray the CIA as a pretty ruthless
bunch of crooks) - so we thought what better way to find out the truth
than to go straight to the horses mouths!
The first
interview (there is another on the way folks, be sure to scroll down to the very bottom!), CIA
Technology, focuses on high-tech modern CIA techniques and
low-tech modern counterintelligence opps. Russell Crowe and Leonardio
Dicaprio (whose beard looks ridiculous in the movie) put in their two
cents as well.
Riveting stuff isn't it!
Amazing to think what those crazy Americans can actually do (I just
hope those satellites can't see us through the office window...
otherwise we will all have to slow down on our "Using Facebook While
Pretending To Work" time).
The second featurette, Pedigree,
focuses on Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe under the direction of
Ridley Scott. For those who have yet to see Body Of Lies - one
of the main features of the film is the fact that it combines the
action of the cat and mouse game between their characters, Roger Ferris
(DiCaprio) and Ed Hoffman (Russell).
Body Of Lies is in
cinemas from October 9, 2008
