Movie Buzz : Terminator Needs Salvation

|
As the clock ticks down to D-Day, that is... well the release date of the highly anticipated Terminator Salvation - things are getting a little heated about the direction the film is taking.
Despite
reports that there will be no Arnie, no James Cameron, no Sarah
Connor... and no Guns 'n' Roses music... there is still some hope -
even if that's not what actor Josh Brolin's been hearing!
It has
recently been revealed that Brolin was close to signing onto the flick
and told MTV that he "really liked the script though I hear that's not
what they filmed".
According to the No Country For Old Men
star "The one I read was very interesting and dark... I saw [Bale]
recently and I asked him how it was and he said: Its alright".
Not to encouraging.
That
said, those involved in the film were the first to speak out against
the claims the flick was in some trouble.
Our pals at Moviehole talked
with Aussie actor Sam Worthington who suggested that "For my knowledge
Josh [Brolin] hasn't seen our film. And knowing Christian - I'm sure he
would reserve his true judgement till the movie is complete".
He went onto say that "From my own eyes and early screening of Terminator Salvation,
I can say that what I have seen and what McG is putting together is
exciting and a thrilling ride. And with that he is always striving to
maintain strong emotional journeys and the truth of this world".
Worthington
said he "considers the movie beyond, 'alright'", suggesting that "where
they are at in the post production process... McG has something to
prove" and that he "is willing to put himself on the line" and to"man
up and deliver beyond alright".
We'll just have to wait and see. For those who haven't seen the trailer yet - you can view it at the Web Wombat Movie Channel Trailer Trash page.
