Sneak Peak at the
Trailer for "Apollo 18"
Since Cloverfield hit cinemas, brandishing
it's tiny budget and
great big wholloping box office take - every man and his dog has tried
to cash in on the "found footage" craze.
Sure, The Blair Witch
Project did it better than anyone - but Cloverfield made it something
viable for big studios. So since then, anything these folks can find
they release.
Therefore we have some "found footage" thriller...
set in space (aka - the last setting everyone thinks of when they have
run out of ways of milking an idea).
Apollo 18 is about the
"real" mission to space in the 1970s that was canceled by NASA. Why?
Well... obviosuly things went wrong... maybe "alien" wrong. Who
knows... well, you will, after you fork out your $17!
All that said, this does look kind of cool, fun and scary.
