Once Adam Sandler hit it big with The Wedding Singer there was really no turning back. He was committed to producing film after film that looked, sounded and played out exactly the same.

Sure, they are fun distractions... but when will he return to the days of Billy Madison or Happy Gilmore - some grittier "acting" work.

His latest, Bedtime Stories, follows hotel handyman Skeeter Bronson's life as it is changed forever when the bedtime stories he tells his niece and nephew start to mysteriously come true.

The film stars Adam Sandler, Keri Russell, Teresa Palmer, Aussie Guy Pearce (who was last seen in Traitor) and Lucy Lawless
