Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs

It's not very often a CGI film comes around with a title with more words in it than there is in the actual script. And to say I was sceptical of this one before I even pressed play was an understatement.

But, give it a chance, because this one looks like it could quite easily battle Monsters Vs Aliens as the supreme 3D CGI Animation film of the year. And that is no easy task, with MvA being one of the best on offer since Shrek changed the landscape almost ten years ago.

The other major key to it's potential success is a fine assembly of Judd Apatow's crew of comedy folk - including the rising star of Bill Hader and Andy Samberg.

Admittedly, Samberg's last CGI outing was a dud (avoid Space Chimps at all costs) - but something tells me it won't be the case here.

The flick follows the most delicious event since macaroni met cheese. Inspired by the beloved children's book, the film focuses on a town where food falls from the sky like raino.

Could be a lot of fun!
