Admittedly, Dance Flick is
at least two years too late. Despite being penned by the guys that
essentially revived the flailing "Spoof" genre (the Wayans), the
butt-holes behind the woeful Epic Movie franchise ruined it for everyone.
So while the "Kids learn to Dance" teen genre is ripe for the picking, it's just a case of too little too late.
For those interested, this is a
satirical jab at dance films, focusing on a naive girl who uses dance
to achieve her dreams and the street-smart guy who helps her along the
way.
Could be fun, if only because it isn't White Chicks.
