Read The Review: Ghost Town

It's been a long time coming (one can only assume that Ricky has been rolling in cash Scrooge McDuck style thanks to The Office) but comedian Ricky Gervais has finally taken on a lead role in a major US picture.

While he has several of his own films still on their way, Ghost Town marks his first ever appearance as not only a lead... but as a romantic lead.

The trailer suggests there will be plenty of "Gervais" style comedy on offer - but the big question will be... can Ricky pull in a movie crowd. And if not - will that wipe that arrogant little smirk off the guys face (don't get me wrong, I love everything the man has ever done... but there is come serious attitude oozing from the buck tooth millionare).

Let's hope this isn't a career breaker...

Ghost Town follows frumpy comedian Ricky Gervais as a romantic lead in his first major movie role
