If there is one man in Hollywood that I
would be pretty much
ecstatic to see on the silver screen until the end of time, it's our
man Clint Eastwood.
Let's face it, the guy has a strike rate
that could out do Sir Donald Bradman - and yet - he continues top play
on despite the fact he is starting to resemble the Crypt Keeper from Tales From The Crypt.
His latest looks like one of his best yet - and you know when the old
fella stars and directs - it's usually going to be pretty decent.
Gran
Torino follows Eastwood as disgruntled Korean War vet Walt
Kowalski who sets out to reform his neighbor, a young Hmong teenager,
who tried to steal Kowalski's prized possesion : his 1972 Gran Torino.
Full of drama, plenty of "message" and some top class grimace from one
of Hollywood's greatest!
