Sneak Peak at the
Trailer for "Honey 2"
It's not unusual to see Hollywood churning out sequels to movies
that were released long ago, films that may not have even been all that
impressive at the Box Office to begin with. However, thanks to DVDs and
downloads - franchises seem to pop up from pretty much anywhere these
days. Nothing is ever dead.
Case in point, Honey 2. Not only was the original Honey
released years ago (2003 to be exact), but it hardly was the kind of
blockbuster which demands a return (taking just over $30M at the US Box
Office). In fact, with a slew of other dance films hitting screens in
the subsequent years (Step Up being the prime example), Honey was left behind as something of a forgotten talent.
Well,
guess what, she is back - although... without "Honey" herself. Yep,
Jessica Alba has been ousted and in her place resides a slew of no-name
actors looking for their big break.
The film idea is simple
enough : A talented dancer finds herself as she rediscovers her passion
for dance. It's all you really need to know. Also, there isn't a single
character in this film named Honey. Just thought you should know.
Guess
what, there might be some dancing... and people "Getting Served"! The
audience for this film know exactly who they are - and that's what the
movie studio is counting on.
