A few years back there was talk of a remake
of Revenge of the Nerds
starring Adam Brody from The OC.
That film never quite came about, but what we have in it's place is The
House Bunny.
It's Legally Blonde
meets Animal House
- and for once - it's a juvinial Adam Sandler led comedy that aims for
the girls. Because let's face it, women deserve to see crap movies too!
So what's it about? Essentially what happens when you take Anna Faris
starring as Shelley Darlington, a Playboy Bunny who is living a
carefree life until a rival gets her tossed out of the Playboy Mansion.
With nowhere to go, fate delivers her to the sorority girls from Zeta
Alpha Zeta. Unless they can sign a new pledge class, the seven socially
clueless women will lose their house to the scheming girls of Phi Iota
Mu.
While it isn't great for laughs, it's sure as hell good for a perve!
