Amy Adams
can do no wrong lately, she's had a string of hits (commericial and
critical) and well on her way to becoming the next Julia Roberts (in
terms of Box Office star power). However, can this Irish themed flick
keep the good times rolling?
In Leap Year,
Amy Adams plays a woman who has an elaborate scheme to propose to her
boyfriend on Leap Day, an Irish tradition which occurs every time the
date February 29 rolls around.
However, she soon faces a major setback when bad weather threatens to
derail her planned trip to Dublin. With the help of an innkeeper,
however, her cross-country odyssey just might result in her getting
engaged.
It's harmless fluff, but the question is, is it interesting enough
fluff to pull in crowds?
