Here's one for film nerds, because Shutter Island is
nothing short of a film students wet dream. Not only is Martin Scorcese
directing, but Leonardo DiCaprio is heading the film based on
the novel by Dennis Lehane.
Set in 1954, this film centres around an island in Boston's outer
harbour that houses a federal institution for the criminally insane.
Two US Marshalls are dispatched to that facility to recapture a violent
female escapee. They become stranded there as a major storm approches
and a series of mind games are being played on them.
The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo and Ben
Kingsley - with Martin Scorcese behind the camera.
