In the highly anticipated new installment of The Terminator film franchise, set in post-apocalyptic 2018, Christian Bale stars as John Connor, the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators.

For those who thought Terminator 3 : Rise Of The Machines was a complete and utter cop out (although, Nick Stahl was fantastic in it, it's a shame he's been shafted) tread carefully as we embark on a movie sequel from the director behind Charlie's Angels : Full Throttle.

That minor set back aside, the movie does look very cool. Christian Bale is at the peak of his powers after the success of The Dark Knight - plus Aussie lad Sam Worthington is second on the bill. Not bad for a guy who cut his teeth within the Melbourne film industry.

All bets are off once that famous tune starts blaring throught the cinema speakers - because you can't help but get excited. This one is gonna be HUGE.
