It's been quite a while since we had a decent excorcist type movie. There have been plenty of remakes of classic like The Omen - but nothing has really put up a challenge to the ultra classic spook fests.

That all might change with The Unborn.

The first thing this flick has going for it is the involvment of David S Goyer (who was behind the new Batman era and The Invisible). It looks damn creepy - and unless the studios get their hands on this and censor it until it's a G friendly pic... it might just be gorey enough to make audience members crap their pants.

In a nutshell - it's about a young woman who fights the spirit that is slowly taking possession of her.

Straight to the point - simple... and that's why it could be so very, very scary!
