Box Office Wrap-Up
with Sean Lynch

2012 opens to huge numbers both domestically (where it took over $65M at the US Box Office) and across the world (where it took in over $230M). It's expected to hold up well and could work it's way to taking over $500M worldwide.
A Christmas Carol held up well in its second week after a fairly soft opening. It should hold on strong well into the Christmas season.
Meanwhile Pirate Radio, released as The Boat That Rocked internationally sinks without a trace on just over 800 screens taking just over $2.5M.
