Music News:  Arctic Monkeys To Tour Oz!

You think you look good on the dance floor? Well, finally, you'll get a chance to put your money where your mouth is and strut your stuff - as the Arctic Monkeys are on their way to our shores to rock the country.

When their first ever tour of Australia was announced in 2006, they caused a frenzy amongst their fans to a level rarely seen before in Australia. Tickets for all shows were snapped up within minutes - and you thought that sort of privelage was reserved for Robbie Williams!
 
However, for those who missed out - fear not - as the Arctic Monkeys have announced that aside from their appearance at Splendour In The Grass they will also perform their largest Australian shows to date in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne this August.
 
The Arctic Monkeys' sophomore album "Favourite Worst Nightmare" reached #2 on Australia's ARIA album chart, and debuted at #1 in the UK where it has already been certified platinum.
