The Basics, Melbourne's answer to The Beatles, have had a stellar 2006 - and 2007 is set to be even bigger!

After playing Hombake and the V Energy AIR Awards, the Melbourne Trio (including drummer/vocalist Wally DeBacker bestter known as Gotye)  is hitting the road to promote their latest single Lookin' Over My Shoulder.

Web Wombat was lucky enough to catch a sneak peak of their latest video clip fresh from the production line which is a little but spooky - but sharply dressed!

The guys are launching their single across the country with a series of shows. Catch their sweet melodies and sensible haircuts on February 8th at the East Brunswick Club with special guests Little Red, The Shambles and Lachlan Bryan.
