Hot Pick: Cut Off Your Hands - New Clip!

Cut Off Your Hands : "Still Fond"

By John Wan

For those who were lucky enough to catch New Zealand's latest big thing, Cut Off your Hands, at the recent spate of Falls Festival shows - you will no doubt be aware of exactly why we are giving this track a run.

Quite possibly one of the most electric live acts going around at the moment, Cut Off Your Hands (originally named "Shaky Hands", but were forced to rethink the title after legal action was taken by a US band of the same name) have become infamous in the live scene for their ability to go above and beyond for the crowds enjoyment.

Just over a year ago we caught the young rockers play at Melbourne then burgeoning indie club "Click Click" in which lead singer Nick climbed onto the roof.

His appearance at Falls was equally impressive, throwing away his crutches and crowd surfing - all the while - nursing a broken leg. Yep, that's rock at it's best.

Still Fond, while not their latest track, is certainly the catchiest and is destined to be added to a few iPods over the coming months.

Cut Off Your Hands and their hand clappy antics - this weeks Web Wombat Music Hit Pick!

Enjoy.
