Music News:  Falls Festival Line Up Announced

It's that time of year again - festival time!!

We've had some good line ups in years past, however, it seems that 2007's Falls Festival could take the cake - with one of the most impressive lineups since the White Stripes/ Kings of Leon / Iggy Pop Big Day Out lineup from a few years ago.

In its 15th year running in Lorne (and 5th birthday in Tassie) The Falls Festival three day adventure of earthly delights is churning out a killer lineup. It will be a sojourn of magic melodies and sweet grooves from both international and national pastures. The brief version that should quench your thirst for diversity and texture for your summer festival yearnings goes a little something like this...

KINGS OF LEON (USA) (does it get any better!!), GROOVE ARMADA (UK), prolific songwriter and storyteller PAUL KELLY, local electro-dance heroes MIDNIGHT JUGGERNAUTS, the raucous renditions of bluesy-rock’n’soul trio BLACK REBEL MOTORCYCLE CLUB (USA) (the surprise must-see this year),BUILT TO SPILL (USA), JOSE GONZALEZ (Sweden) (Yep, from the TV ad!), THE GO! TEAM (UK), BLACKALICIOUS (USA), THE MESS HALL, Australian icon and provocative songwriter KEV CARMODY, WHISKEY GO GO’S - and Web Wombat favourite GOTYE.

Featuring around 50 performers, comedians, The Falls Arts Village, films, spectacular amphitheatres and two nights of FREE CAMPING - this one isnt to be missed. However, tickets are going to be a hot item (meaning subscribing is a must), with over 80% of tickets being allocated to subscribers only and remaining tickets go on sale 9am September 10th.
