Foo Fighters were out 'Rock n
Rolled' by Amy Winehouse
and her drug addicted ways

GrammyAwards 2008

Another year, another Awards ceremony (and amazingly - an Awards ceremony not ruined by the Writers Strike!!). Yep - apprentley people used to get paid to write the dreadfully awkard 'banter' between presenters...

2008 seems to have been the year of the drug addict. With more stars checking in and out of rehab than ever before (seriously, it must be like one big party within those walls) it's no surprise that everyones favourite bee-hived heroin addict, Amy Winehouse, blew the competition away.

Winehouse and Kanye West were the big winners at the 50th annual Grammy Awards, each scoring multiple awards.

Winehouse, who performed I'm No Good and Rehab from London via satellite came damn close to sweeping the event winning at total of 5 Grammys (inc. Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Performance).

West, who started the night with eight nominations, picked up a respectable 4 Grammy Awards: Best Rap Solo Performance, Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group, Best Rap Song and Best Rap Album (for Graduation).

The big surprise, however, was the Album of the Year going to Herbie Hancock. Seriously... what's that about?
