Music News: Joss Stone To Tour Oz!

|
Following
the sell out success of her very first Australian show at the Enmore
Theatre last April, topped off by her stunning performance at the East
Coast Blues & Roots Festival, Joss Stone is back to charm and
seduce new audiences with her multitude of talents.
Performing three intimate shows only:
* Brisbane – The Tivoli, Wednesday December 5 * Sydney – Enmore Theatre, Friday December 7 * Melbourne – Forum Theatre, Sunday December 9
Shortly
after the release of her 3rd album "Introducing Joss Stone", Stone
performed at her first ever Australian show to fans who’d been waiting
4 years to see and hear her incredible vocal and musical talents.
At
tender age of 14 year Joss Stone was catapulted into the public eye
with the release of 2003 debut album "The Soul Sessions". Her
distinctly personal covers of lesser-known soul classics were met with
commercial and critical applause. Short-listed for the Mercury Music
Prize and the album hit the top 10 in the UK and Australia.
Stone’s 2004 sophomore album, "Mind, Body & Soul" featuring the hit single You Had Me
garnered further acclaim and earned multiple Grammy Awards nominations.
In 2005 Stone won 2 prestigious BRIT Awards including ‘British Female
Solo Artist’, however it wasn’t until this year that she won her first
Grammy - ‘Best R&B Performance By A Duo or Group’ - for her Family
Affair collaboration with John Legend and Van Hunt.
In March of this year the 19 year old Joss Stone released her 3rd album "Introducing Joss Stone" featuring the lead single Tell Me ‘Bout it and Tell Me What We’re Gonna Do Now
featuring rapper Common. Worldwide Joss Stone has sold in excess of 7.5
million albums, which includes well over 200,000 Australian sales.
This is set to be one of the must see tours of 2007!
