Music News:  Missy Higgins Returns in 007

Despite keeping a relatively low profile in 2006, somehow short haired beauty Missy Higgins has stayed in the upper end of the charts with her debut album "The Sound of White" (it has remained in the Australian Top 40 for over two years now and is 9 times platinum). But fans should fear not - as Missy is preparing to make a return to the lime light with an all new album.

The former JJJ Unearthed winner has spent the second half of 2006 in LA recording the highly anticpated release, which is scheduled to hit store shelves at the end of April.

The as yet untitled disc (although our favourite suggestions are "Sound of White 2: Cruise Control", or the more action packed "2Sound 2White") is being recorded with acclaimed producer Mitchell Froom (producer of the recent Finn Brothers album and the first three Crowded House albums).

The first single to be released upon our ears is set to be "Steer" - yet another positive/life affirming track which was previewed live during Missy's 2006 US and UK tour. The single is set to premiere online and on Australian radio/tv in early March.
