Music News:  MTV VMA's Goes Down Under

Fegie (pop-princess of Black Eyed Peas fame, not the pudgy Duchess of York) is set to put on her hosting boots as she prepares to head the 2007 MTV Australia Video Music Awards.

It's an all-star line up this year (which is a welcome change from the previous years....cough cough...Shannon Noll...cough cough) with guest including Movie-Turned-Emo star Jared Leto and his band 30 Seconds To Mars. There is also the amazingly hot star of Laguna Beach, Kristen Cavalleri, while the boys from Good Charlotte will also be making an appearance.

Which means it's no surprise to see that Sophie Monk is making her way down the red carpet (the former Bardot singer is currently shacking up with one of the GC brothers).

Other performers this year include Pink, Fergie, Teddy Geiger and our very own Damien Leith. Does anyone else notice the odd one out there?

It's set to be one of the most impressive Australian made Awards ceremonies ever - so be sure to catch all the action (or disaster) on MTV.
