March have spent the past 18 months or so variously writing and
recording a new album "Watch Me Disappear", touring North America,
supporting Crowded House on their comeback run, playing festivals, amongst other things.
However,
besides the one of Christmas shows last year - the one thing they
have not done is undertake a proper headline tour of their
homeland.
The Watch Me Disappear Tour will hit all the major cities and will feature material from the forthcoming album, "Watch Me Disappear".
Singer/songwriter
Glenn Richards claims "It's the best bunch of songs to date", but the
shows also promise to feature material from the bands impressive
decade-plus-deep catalogue.
The title track of the new album made its way onto the net last week, while the first single Pennywhistle will be available as a digital download from September 16th and in stores September 27th.
"Watch
Me Disappear", is of course, the follow up release to their platinum
selling AMP and APRA Award winning LP "Moo, You Bloody Choir" (with
'that' song One Crowded Hour on it) and is out in Australia on October 11th 2008.
Gearing up as a support act is Web Wombat Music Channel favourite Dan Kelly.
