For those of you that haven’t heard – because there were quite a few
secrets falsley leaked before the "Official Announcment" - the word it
out on the monster Big Day Out 2010 Line Up, so we thought; why not spill the rest of the beans?
In keeping with the Big Day Out
tradition of presenting some of the world's most dynamic emerging acts
(as well an enormous quota of local acts), the big news of BDO 2010 is
that the hottest band currently on the planet will close the event :
Muse.
The stellar line up also features some of the world's
hottest artists such as Lily Allen and Dizzee Rascal along with
Australia's favourites Powderfinger, Eskimo Joe and Grinspoon to name but a few.
Not
surprisingly, tickets are selling like hot cakes (it seems hot cakes
are selling in their hundreds of thousands... STILL) with rapid ticket
sales in Sydney and the Gold Coast.
45,000 tickets to the Melbourne Big Day Out event to be held January 26th 2010 at Flemington Racecourse SOLD OUT.
All
is not lost for fans who missed out that with news that the final 5,000
tickets will be made available for purchase through an online ticket
ballot via the Big Day Out website, www.bigdayout.com.
