These days there are more music festivals than Charlie Sheen has had hookers, and of late, not all have survived. However, it is good to see that the better ones are really beginning to thrive.

Hence, Good Vibrations Festival is back for 2009!

A full line up is set to be announced shortly, but while you wait, you  might as well lock away the dates in your diary (or blueberry, or daily planner)!

It's not going just be the norm next year either… word floating around is that it will be Harder, Better, Faster & Stronger than 2008.

Heading back in the beautiful grounds of Centennial Park in Sydney and Heirisson Island in Perth, Good Vibrations 2009 is also announcing two brand new venues for the year!

After a brief holiday, the fest is moving back to the Gold Coast - to a new home in Parklands AND moving to a bigger and better venue in Melbourne… where that is... the folks behind Good Vibrations are keeping very close to their chest.

Already confirmed to kick start the GVF juggernaut is dance sensation Sam Sparro who is set to tour with the Good Vibrations Festival in February next year. After treating audiences in Melbourne and Sydney earlier this year to an appetiser of what’s in store for his full live show, it's pretty much a foregone conclusion he'll have the crowd dancing as soon as he steps out on stage!

Last year Good Vibrations Festival played host to over 90,000 people and as with most festival - it's strongly advised to get in quick with tickets as they will be out the door faster than you can say "Who's on the lineup?"... which is always a great question to ask!
