The Queenscliff Music Festival's 2008 program just got a whole lot bigger with the announcement of a huge array of new acts for the program.

Each year the last weekend in November sees Victoria's historic 19th Century seaside town of Queenscliff stage its much loved Queenscliff Music Festival. The Festival offers up a musical feast of over 160 performances by over 900 musicians across 3 unforgettable days.

Performance spaces include circus marquees, a grand and ornate Victorian ballroom, replete with chandeliers, an oddment of 1950s buildings as well as intimate church spaces, open air street action and the internationally famous Festival Train.

For interstaters who may wish to stay overnight in Melbourne town, especially given Queenscliff's easy striking distance from the CBD, there is now a two nighter package available with the Mercure Hotels:  from just $414pp at the 4.5star Swanston Hotel or $363pp at the 3star Mercure Hotel Welcome.

These rates are based on twin share and include an Essential Weekender ticket, return Festival bus transport on both Saturday & Sunday, gst and booking fees.
