Sarah Blasko has quickly risen from Indie Princess to Australian music Queen in a very short time.

It was just over a year ago that her melancholy sounds made headway into the mainstream, even allowing her soothing sounds to become part of the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremony. Who would have guessed?

She returns with a brand new album, which if anyone has seen the packaging, seems to have had a pretty penny spent on it, indicating that the record execs are a little more than pleased about her performance.

Here latest single from 'What The Sea Wants, The Sea Will Have' is the touching (if not strangely "Same-As-The-Rest") ditty Planet New Year - not to be confused with the violent gore fest of the Tarrantino flick Planet Terror.

It's quirky as always, and will know doubt have the self loathing teenage girls in a depressive spin in their bedrooms composing their own brand of poetry. However, the most bizzare thing is - well - Sarah is getting hitched with a piano here. 

Sure, we'd expect it from Coldplay's Chris Martin, but this may be taking it to far. Check it out for yourself.
