Music News: Kings of Pop Snaps!
The fickle nature of fame! One day you're up, the next day...you're Scott Cain.
This week's news update doesn't make this point any clearer as we take
a look at two of the world's biggest Pop Stars rising and falling - and
not in the order you would think!
First up is the shock news
(well, not to those who follow his personal life with a great amount of
attention) 33-year-old, Robbie Williams, has admitted himself in to a
US rehab clinic. A brief statement was released reporting that, "Robbie
Williams has...been admitted into a treatment centre in America for his
dependency on prescription drugs."
The singer of such hits as Angels, Rudeboxx and Come Undone has reportedley developed an addiction to anti-depressants since giving up drinking and cocaine over five years ago.
And
from the "Dead-Star-To-Shining-Star" files comes the exciting news that
troubled former King of Pop, Michael Jackson, is to make his career
comeback this year with a new album (the first since his trial,
following up from the dreadfully dull album, "Invincible") with the
singer set to appear on American Idol.
The idea is that the show will have a Jackson themed week with MJ to mentor the talent (or lack thereof) on the show.
As for Scott Cain, he was last reported seen working at Harvey Norman...
